The address to connect

In your assistant, add a connector and give it this address. It will send you to AwardsCapture to sign in and approve the connection, then send you back.

What it can do

It reads what you could read yourself in the application, and it adds what you could add yourself. Nothing more.

• List the organizations you work with, and the projects in each.
• Show the opportunities and the funders matched to a project, best first, with the reasons.
• Show what one funder has given, as recorded in its filings, one funder at a time.
• Show what is due in the next seven days across deadlines, tasks and follow-ups.
• Show the pipeline by stage, the relationships you are tracking, one opportunity in full, or one funder in full.
• Put an opportunity on the pipeline at a stage, create a task, or log an interaction on a relationship.
• Add a funder or nonprofit from the directory to your relationships, by its identifier. That makes the relationship record only: no pipeline entry and no contact copied from a filing.
• Draft a concept note, a letter of intent or a letter of interest for one of your concepts, addressed to a funder on your list. It goes through the same drafting the application does and draws on the same allowance, and the document lands in Funder Approaches with its cover email beside it.

What it never does

• It never deletes anything. Not an opportunity, not a task, not a note. Removing something is done by a person looking at the screen.
• It never reaches an organization your sign-in cannot reach. If your account holds several, every request names one, and a request that does not is answered with the list rather than with a guess.
• It never exports. Lists come back fifty rows at a time and say how many more there are. Exporting is done in the application, where it counts against the allowance you bought.
• It never adds award amounts together. It shows the individual grants and how many there are.
• It never spends a separate allowance. A draft made through an assistant draws on the same monthly allowance as a draft made in the application, and a refusal names which allowance ran out.

Which plans include it

Using AwardsCapture inside an assistant is available on Pro and above. On Pro it connects to your one organization. On Consultant it connects to each of your organizations, and every request names which one it is about. On Agency, every person on the account can connect, and each reaches only the organizations they hold in the application. It is not included on Starter, and everything else on Starter is unaffected.

Disconnecting

Every connection is listed in Settings, under Connected apps, with when it was made and when it was last used. Disconnect ends it on the next request, not at some later expiry. If a plan changes to one that does not include the connector, every connection is ended at the same moment and the account owner is told.
